Does the condition of my returned modem matter?

Does the condition of my returned modem matter?

Yes, if you decide to cancel your subscription with Nomad Internet, the condition your modem returned matters as the modems are the property of Nomad Internet.

Per Nomad's terms of service Section 4.2 Modems are required to be returned in the manner that they were shipped. Please note that no modifications should be made to the modem, to include the addition of any adhesive or tape. If the condition is beyond normal wear and tear and includes, but not limited to, excessive scratches, dirt, dents, glue, adhesives, stickers, pet hair, tobacco stains and smells, jammed SIM cards, or a modem that has been dismantled, taken apart, or contains missing pieces, you will be subjected to an additional fee equivalent to the retail value of the modem. The power cords, ethernet cables and all accessories must be returned with the modem.

Devices returned in an unsatisfactory manner as described above will be subject to the following fee structure:

Nomad Omen $380
Nomad Omega $380
Nomad Air $599
Nomad Raptor $699
Nomad Ark $999

Please note that any modem not returned within 30 days of your cancellation request and receipt of RMA Instructions will be considered stolen and you will be invoiced for the replacement modem.
