Why am I receiving invoices if I’m not using the service?

Why am I receiving invoices if I’m not using the service?

Nomad Internet billing is tied to an active subscription status and the modem remaining checked out on the account— not internet usage levels.

This means that even if:

  • The modem is unplugged

  • The service is not being used

  • You’ve moved locations

  • Signal quality was poor

Invoices will continue generating as long as the subscription is still active in the system and the equipment has not been returned and processed.

Billing stops only after:

  1. A formal cancellation request has been submitted and processed, and

  2. The modem has been returned and checked in at our warehouse.

Until both of those steps are completed, the system continues to reflect the subscription as active, which automatically generates invoices.

If you believe your account should already be closed, please contact support. We are more than happy to review your account status, confirm the equipment record, and ensure everything is handled properly.
