What happens if I file a dispute with my bank?

What happens if I file a dispute with my bank?

When a charge is formally disputed through your bank or card issuer, the transaction enters their review process. This process is typically handled directly between the financial institution and the merchant and may take up to 30 days or longer depending on the issuing bank.

During this period, merchants are generally unable to issue a separate direct refund outside of the dispute channel.

Please note: In accordance with our Terms of Service, Nomad Internet may assess a dispute fee for each item formally disputed. This is because our payment processor assesses a chargeback handling fee to us when a dispute is initiated.

We always encourage customers to contact support directly first so we can review and resolve billing concerns quickly and avoid unnecessary dispute processing delays.
