No. Please do not use a USPS Flat Rate box when returning your modem with the prepaid label we provide.
Here’s why:
Our prepaid labels are generated with specific weight, dimensions, and service classifications. USPS Flat Rate packaging operates under a separate pricing structure. When a prepaid label is applied to a Flat Rate box, the carrier may:
Reject the shipment at drop-off
Return the package to sender
Hold the package for postage adjustment
Delay delivery processing
To ensure smooth and timely processing, please:
Use the original modem packaging if available
Or use a plain, sturdy box with proper padding
Securely tape all seams
Attach the prepaid label flat on the largest surface
Do not alter or cover the barcode
If you’re unsure about packaging, we’re happy to guide you before you ship.
Taking these precautions helps prevent delays in warehouse check-in, which can otherwise impact subscription closure timelines.
If your package was already sent in a Flat Rate box and appears to be delayed or returned, please contact support so we can assist in locating it and advising next steps.
