Can I use a USPS Flat Rate box?

Can I use a USPS Flat Rate box?

No. Please do not use a USPS Flat Rate box when returning your modem with the prepaid label we provide.

Here’s why:

Our prepaid labels are generated with specific weight, dimensions, and service classifications. USPS Flat Rate packaging operates under a separate pricing structure. When a prepaid label is applied to a Flat Rate box, the carrier may:

  • Reject the shipment at drop-off

  • Return the package to sender

  • Hold the package for postage adjustment

  • Delay delivery processing

To ensure smooth and timely processing, please:

  • Use the original modem packaging if available

  • Or use a plain, sturdy box with proper padding

  • Securely tape all seams

  • Attach the prepaid label flat on the largest surface

  • Do not alter or cover the barcode

If you’re unsure about packaging, we’re happy to guide you before you ship.

Taking these precautions helps prevent delays in warehouse check-in, which can otherwise impact subscription closure timelines.

If your package was already sent in a Flat Rate box and appears to be delayed or returned, please contact support so we can assist in locating it and advising next steps.
